Welcome to Technology Services

The Office of Technology Services will provide the highest quality technology-based services, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the College mission as it applies to the management, teaching, learning, and community service.

To meet this mission, Technology Services will:

  • Provide effective technology support for audio/visual, computer, multimedia, voice, video, and web-based applications and services to all areas of the college.
  • Promote and facilitate the effective integration of technology into the basic mission of the college through planning, programming, training, consulting, and other support activities.
  • Develop, enhance, and manage the College’s enterprise networks to provide high speed, transparent, and highly functional connectivity among all information resources.
  • Develop and maintain highly effective, reliable, secure, and innovative information systems to support instructional, administrative and research functions.
  • Facilitate the collection, storage, security and integrity of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access.
  • Promote new uses of technology within the institution through the support for exploratory and innovative applications.
  • Provide leadership for effective strategic and tactical planning in the use of technology.
  • Provide fast & reliable access to all information systems.

All users of college IT resources are expected to be aware of and understand how to comply with the acceptable use of technology policy while using any college technology resource. View 6015 Acceptable Use of Technology (PDF).

Accounts

All incoming students have accounts created for them a week after their acceptance notification. Contact Admissions if you haven’t received your credentials by the time you register. Passwords to each account should never be shared with anyone.

The portal provides all current students secure access to services and resources that include signing into email, registering for classes, paying fees, reviewing schedules, personal information and unofficial transcripts, library resources and more.

Username: Student email without @students.cochise.edu
Password: First login is date of birth (MMDDYY)

Military students: Due to online security restrictions, students using computers on military installations may not be able to access their student records, financial aid and register & pay pages within MyºÚÁÏÍø. The ºÚÁÏÍø Fort Huachuca Education Center should be able to assist you.

MOS Credentialing Program students, not enrolled in other ºÚÁÏÍø courses, use their directly to verify information and access unofficial transcripts. Our MOS Credentialing Office on Fort Huachuca handles MOS students’ admission, registration and processing fees.

Accessible through , students can utilize Gmail and other Google cloud-based applications, including calendar, chat, docs, groups, contacts and mobile. College email is the official form of communication at every ºÚÁÏÍø campus and center.

Student email format: last name + first initial + 3 numbers + @students.cochise.edu
Password: Same as the MyºÚÁÏÍø password

MOS students enrolled in dual classes need to contact the help desk to receive an email account.

Mobile device set up: at MyºÚÁÏÍø once, than follow  to set up your college Gmail on your mobile device.

MyClassrooms (Moodle)accordian open close

Moodle is our online learning management system, and can be accessed through .

In Moodle, you can access your courses, submit assignments, take quizzes, participate in discussions, and communicate with your instructors and classmates. Watch the following videos to learn more about ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s learning management system (Moodle), and how to get started with Moodle. 

You can also find additional training and resources for students inside Moodle. Once you login, select the Student Resources link towards the right side of the screen. We recommend you complete the Moodle Training for Students (linked within the Student Resources page).

MyDegreePlanaccordian open close

Accessible through , allows students to view and plan their progress towards their degree. Students will also be able to see how their degree progress would differ if they were to switch majors.

Military students: Your username is the first part of your cochise email (studentx123@cochise.edu) and your password should be in a message in your ºÚÁÏÍø email account. If you misplace or forget your password, or have other questions, email mydegreeplan@cochise.edu.
